Ubisoft calls for third season of incubator program at Station F

Participants will be part of a 6-month program at Ubisoft’s Paris campus

So far, there have been two seasons of promising companies from its incubator program.

Now Ubisoft has announced a call for more developers from the worlds of blockchain and AI to start applying for its upcoming third season.

More specifically, the incubator program is interested in projects which emphasize machine learning, AI, deep learning, and blockchain.

When asked about why these specific fields are of interest, Catherine Seys, the program director outlined their growing necessity in daily life and gaming.

“These technologies are revolutionizing the way we live, the way we work and the way we entertain,” Seys continues.

“Algorithms and AI have always been core to the gaming industry, and Ubisoft, in particular, has been exploring for some time new possibilities offered by AI and machine learning to improve the way we craft games.”

Successful applicants will take part in a 6-month program based out of Ubisoft’s Paris campus. From January-July 2019, each team will benefit from support and personalized assistance from the program.
