Coinbase teams up with NBA’s Kevin Durant and Rich Kleiman in new NFT range

In a recent announcement by Thirty Five Ventures, the Venture firm co-founded by the former NBA star Kevin Durant and manager Rich Kleiman, struck a new business partnership with the cryptocurrency exchange – Coinbase.

In his own statement, Rich Kleiman gave his own props to Coinbase for transforming the way we consider ‘premium’ brands – and how crypto and blockchain projects have managed to break the mould.

“Historically, premium has meant brands that have been around forever, like Mercedes, Rolex, and American Express. But in five years, Coinbase has become representative of that era and is in line with our premium brand philosophy. And we’re getting into this formalized agreement with a company that is just scratching the surface on where it’s going.”

Under the agreement, Thirty Five Ventures will work jointly with Coinbase to create a non-fungible token, or NFT, drops and storytelling content about NFTs. Along with this, Coinbase will also extend its education for its millions of users about the advantages of NFTs. Taking into consideration Coinbase’s years in operation, the fact that its community boasts over 73 million across the world makes this collaboration a truly impressive one.

The announcement also added that these NFTs would also involve philanthropic integration with Durant’s charity – the Kevin Durant Charity Foundation.
