Blockchain mobile games app store ALAX has raised $3.8 million.
Targeting emerging markets such as India and Indonesia, ALAX is a joint venture between Swiss blockchain content distribution platform DECENT, and Chinese distribution platform, Dragonfly.
Co-founder Feng Wenhe commented: “We sincerely thank our supporters and investors for helping us complete the fundraising.
“The ALAX team will do its utmost to achieve our goal of establishing a global mobile gaming ecosystem, and make our team proud. For ALAX, 2018 will be a very promising year.”
Partners and exchanges
In March, ALAX announced a partnership with Jin Li, a leading smartphone manufacturer in China and India. The platform has since grown to include collaboration with Torque and UTOO – manufacturers in the Philippines and Southeast Asia respectively.
Ee Soon Guan, Director of UTOO, said: “We are very happy to cooperate with ALAX. They have seen great potential for mobile games in Asia, especially in the field of game content acquisition. We have taken a step toward a better mobile gaming future.”
ALAX token plans are listed on different exchanges, from QRYPTOS to YoBit, CREX24 and Coinbene.
