Ginger Joy reveals details of Fundora NFT sale

UK-based web3 mobile game startup Ginger Joy has revealed further details of its forthcoming sale of Fundora Eternal PFPs.

Containing a total of 1,000 NFTs, the collection is part of the studio’s initiative to build an interoperable ecosystem including multiple mobile games. The Fundora Eternal PFPs will serve as profile pictures and avatars across all of Ginger Joy’s games, including the studio’s first title, casual multiplayer racing game Fundora.

Moreover, the NFTs will unlock various in-game perks such as access to exclusive subscriptions, game modes, game creation and customisation features, and invitations to events.

Ginger Joy Games CEO Ibrahim Over commented, “Ownership of the NFT will open up new and exclusive aspects of the game ecosystem to these players—these include a playable avatar, access to events and game modes, and a subscription to Fundora Race Pass.”

Initial access to the sale will be restricted to existing community members who have purchased NFTs previously, followed by a public sale auction hosted by Seedify’s INO platform.

A spin-off of mobile game developer Matchingham Games, Ginger Joy recently raised $1 million in funding. In addition to Fundora, the team plans to develop two more web3 mobile games.

“As one of the pioneering players in mobile-native Web3 gaming, integrating NFTs into our ecosystem was a natural progression for us. The revenue generated from this sale will be put straight back into developing more games and building out existing worlds,” added Over.
