“Web3 has a mega future” says Fumb Games’ Paul West ahead of speaking at PGC London 2024

We’re starting off 2024 with a bang at our big London event, Pocket Gamer Connects London 22nd-23rd January 2024. Not only will this be our biggest event of the year, but 2024’s show is the 10th anniversary of PG Connects too.

We’re proud to announce that some of the biggest names in the industry will be present at the conference. BlockchainGamer.biz has checked in with one of the speakers on blockchain gaming – Fumb Games CEO Paul West – to find out what he’ll be talking about, and more.

Can you give us an overview of what Fumb Games is currently working on?

We’re working on a major integration with a US super app for Bitcoin Miner, we’ve just launched our second Web3 game called SpaceY, and we’re scaling Bitcoin Miner across lots of UA channels and have just passed our peak DAUs for the game.

What will you be talking about at Pocket Gamer Connects London?

Our Top 5 learnings on making web3 games: security, community, UA, platforms and positioning.

What do you think is the strongest takeaway you’d like your audience at the event to remember

Web3 has a mega future, if done correctly.

What’s your outlook for the blockchain gaming industry in 2024?

We’re just getting started. The next bull run will have lots of noise again, but be the light in the dark, set a positive example, do the right thing and we will all win.

More blockchain games content

Other web3 gaming content at the event include a talk from Petaverse CEO Susan Cummings, and a panel lined up with expert developers diving into the topic of building infinite, fully onchain games.

And that’s not all. As part of day two, BlockchainGamer.biz will reveal the results of our Top 50 Blockchain Gaming Companies of 2024 awards. There’s still time to have your say, nominations are open until 20th December. Add your favourite company by filling out this form.
