A CryptoKitties inspired pet sim that’s more Peru than purr
Crypto Alpaca is a simulation game in the cryptocollectibles genre about rearing unique pets, and isn’t shy about its influences.
Much like CryptoKitties, players can expect to raise and breed virtual animals; this time alpacas. These can be fed and sheared for rewards, and can be bred with each other to create more generations.
According to Aron Lyu, co-founder of Crypto Alpaca, there’s a more symbolic reasoning to the choice of furry friend here, however. “We chose the alpaca because it’s the original mascot of Bitcoin.
“Crypto Alpaca is a tribute from our team to the entire crypto community, and our mission is to help more people understand the benefits of decentralization”.
